8) Make the most of your old iPhone

Upgrading to the latest iPhone is always exciting, but what about your old one? You can sell it, but wouldn’t you rather have an iPod Touch instead?
Take your old iPhone, put a sim card from the carrier it is locked to in it, and connect it to an internet-enabled computer with iTunes. iTunes will automatically activate the phone for you. Now, you can remove the sim card, and with Wi-Fi enabled you have what is essentially an iPod touch, great for music and apps.

This is great for iPhone charger cords, but should work for any phone or tablet. Take a pen spring from an old retractable pen, stretch it out and wrap it around the charger cord. It will make sure the cord is safe from snapping and breaking.

4) Emoji Enhancement!

Emoji’s are great, but you can make them even more useful. Add a suitable emoji to each of your contacts, this creates a visual image of the person that can help organise conversations in your head. When creating App folders, instead of a text label, use an Emoji, its less cluttered and easier to follow. A camera Emoji for photography apps for instance. Wonderful.

3) Untangle Tangled Headphone Cables

It seems to be one of life’s unwritten rules, every time you reach for your headphones or earphones, the cable will be wrapped around itself and everything in a 3 foot radius. Avoid this by wrapping the cable around an old sewing thread spool. Perfect.
