I wanted every file, buffer and block etc lol. Thinking back i wish someone had stopped me in my tracks and given me a bit of advice as i ended up spending far too much money on things that are still sitting (un used i might add) in the bottom drawer of my nail trolley!
I thought i might write this little guide for new nail techs (or aspiring techs) offering the advice that i did not recieve. I dont know how interesting or helpful this may be to you, but i thought i would give it a go, so.here we go!
Listed below are the basics you would need to start building your nail kit
- A small selection of nail tips. Natural and white are the most commonly asked for.
- Tip cutters
- A good quality file (Nsi do afile called endurance that lasts up to 4 times longer, is fully sanatisable and half moon shaped that makes blending around the cuticle easy peasy)
- A white buffing block
- A super shine buffer (for finishing)
- Tip glue/resin/adhesive
- Your chosen overlay system. If your chose acrylic then you would need your monomer liquid, powders, sable brush, primer (if your system requires it)
- Cuticle pusher
- Anti bacterial hand gel
- Anti bacteriel spray
When you first qualify lots of questions run through your mind,
what system should i use?
what brand is best?
I hope to answer these questions and more in my future guides
