AUTOGRAPHED ITEMS

WHEN BUYING AUTOGRAPHED ITEMS - IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT THE ITEM, OR SIMPLY WANT TO KNOW WHERE THE SELLER ATTAINED THE PIECE - ALWAYS ASK. IF THE SELLER IS 100% GENUINE, THEN THEY WON'T MIND ANY MANNER OF QUESTIONS RELATING TO THE ITEM. WHEN I'VE SOLD A FEW PIECES IN THE PAST, I'VE BEEN ABLE TO OFFER NAMES,DATES AND CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH BROUGHT ME TO HAVING THE ITEM TO SELL - PLUS A LIFETIME GARUANTEE.

ANOTHER POINT - IF YOU SEE AUTOGRAPHS GOING FOR A LOW PRICE - BEWARE. DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ON THE NET AND TRY AND FIND THE AVERAGE PRICE FOR A CERTAIN AUTOGRAPH. I'VE SOLD A BRIAN MAY (OF QUEEN) AUTOGRAPH IN THE PAST AND WOULDN'T HAVE DREAMED OF LETTING IT GO FOR LESS THAN £45. (HIS IS WORTH AROUND £45-75 DEPENDING ON THE ITEM)

ALSO - IF BUYING OR TRYING TO FIND A FILM STAR AUTOGRAPH - TRY CONTACTING THEIR MANAGER INSTEAD. FOR MUSIC ARTISTS - TRY SENDING A S.E.LETTER TO A VENUE THAT THEY'RE DUE TO BE PLAYING. VENUES USUALLY KEEP LETTERS FOR ARTISTS AND DELIVER THEM PERSONALLY. (OR TO THEIR ROAD-MANAGERS)

ALSO - TRY SENDING AN ARTIST SOMETHING FOR THEM TO KEEP & THE MIGHT RETURN THE FAVOUR. (MY BROTHER SENT NICKY WIRE OF M.S.PREACHERS, SOME 'JOHN CHARLES' (LEEDS UNITED) STUFF & HE KINDLY SENT BACK 2 SIGNED PICTURES WITH A GREAT NOTE ATTACHED. :) ...ARTISTS ARE PEOPLE TOO!
