What To Consider

Is the Christening for one child or more babies ?

You will need to order your invitations a couple of months in advance so that your guests have plenty of notice.

You don't want to leave it to late or otherwise your guests won't have enough notice to take a day off of work etc.

How Many Invitations To Buy ?

Christening invitations can usually be brought in sets of 10 and 20 and possibly more.

Smaller christenings may only need a handful of invitations for close family or friends, while larger events will call for more.

Designing The Invitations

Most parents buy invitations in the colours of the baby's gender such as baby blue or pastel pink.

Also, items to do with the baby are usually included on the invitation as well such as a baby's bottle, rattle or toy.

A picture of the baby itself is usually included on the invitation as well.

Overall

Before paying for the invitations you need to make sure that all of the details have been spelt correctly such as the baby's name.

The date, time, venue and RSVP date need to be included on the invitation so that the guests know where the event is being held.
