An introduction to cardfight vanguard

This is a basic guide into learning about cardfight vanguard, based on the anime series, for those who play Yu-Gi-OH or similar card games will find this easy to play.
There are around 6 nations and around 24 clans to play so there are a wide variety of races to play, each one contains a unique style of play and learning to hone in on the clans ability will help you build a good strong deck. The reference upon these clans can be found in the Cardfight wiki, i myself play for the Star Gate Nation consisting of Nova Grapplers as the sub race (note the sub-races also have diversity e.g for Nova Grappler there is a "Raize Units" and "Death Army Units" and other sub types you can play )

The basic idea of the game is to deal 6 damage points to your opponent before they deal 6 damage points to you, this is where the skill of your clan comes in to help push for more damage and prevent damages dealt to you, these can also be found on the Cardfight wiki. When starting a match the players decide on who goes first, then they take it in turns to build up their units and attack and defend then the battle continues until one is the victor.

A deck consists of 50 cards with units grading from 0 to 3 (there might be a 4 in future releases)with no more than 4 copies of a card and with no more than 16 "triggers" ( these are cards that can affect the game) for a strong build on a deck the cards should follow this guideline 17 grade 0, 14 grade 1,  11 grade 2 and 8 grade 3 (note this is only a guideline to the build you can vary these except for the 16 Triggers of which only 4 of them can be "heal" triggers the other 12 triggers can vary e.g 6 "critical" 3 "stand" 3 "draw").

If you would like to find out more about this game i would suggest seeing a local trading card shop or watch some videos on how to play or consult the Cardfight Wiki , i have been playing for a few months and i enjoy the game i always look for new ways to improve.

Advice Tip: When starting out i would suggest a trial deck as these will give you the essence of what the clan is and how it functions.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this basic guide .
