Having being apparently scammed by this company with no support from E-Bay, here is some advice about dealing with this company.

They are very good at making you feel 'at ease', a lovely reassuring message on the voice mail. Don't be fooled...;

"We are online 10am - 4pm GMT to help customers" - This is not true, try phoning them; 07938422225 or 07732280185

"We operate quibble-free returns policy if returned within 14 days of receipt" - I returned the goods but Thrifty Beatnik won't return my calls, emails or money. No explanations...

The website http://www.thriftybeatnik.co.uk/ does not exist.

The sizing chart is a joke. All 5 x items I bought were way off, at least two sizes out.

The seller likes you to use "eBay Returns policy" - This leaves you totally unprotected. It is an 'agreement' between you and the seller and apparently invalidates any protection that E-Bay might otherwise offer.

My advice; Avoid like the plague. If you're not convinced;
Try e-mailing them or phoning them, before you buy.
Demand accurate measurements before you buy.
Don't rely on E-Bay to help you out.
Before they went cold on me, I got a promise of my money being refunded via email. Although it never got refunded, this is good enough for me to take legal action. That's what I'm about to do next...
