BAD EBAYERS NOT HONOURING THERE EBAY COMMITMENT

WELL. HERE WE ARE AGAIN, I HAVE RECENTLY SOLD A SHOWER UNIT TO AN EBAY MEMBER CALLED 6797craig

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT UNTIL HE STARTED TO DEMAND THAT HE WANTED TO COLLECT THE ITEM INSTEAD OF ME POSTING IT TO HIM,  THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN OK UNTIL HE STARTED TO DEMAND A DAY AS HE HAD ALREADY ARRANGED FOR THE SHOWER TO BE FITTEDS. 

THIS SELLER ASSUMED THAT THE DAY WOULD BE FINE FOR ME TO BE IN, BUT IT WAS NOT AS I DO HAVE A LIVE AND A BUSINESS TO RUN, EVEN ON A SATURDAY WHICH WAS THE DAY IN QUESTION.  AS I DID NOT ANSWER HIS EMAIL BECAUSE HE THOUGHT I SHOULD BE AT MY COMPUTER AT MIDNIGHT WHICH IS WHEN HE SEEMS TO BE AT HIS TO WRITE EMAILS HE JUST WENT OUT AND BOUGHT ANOTHER SHOWER UNIT AND BASICALLY SAID SORRY I DONT WANT YOURS NOW.

SO I AM NOW LEFT WITH HAVING TO REPORT THIS SELLER AS A NON PAYING BIDDER TO CLAIM BACK MY COSTS AND TO REPREMAND HIM TO WHICH HE 'S NOT BOTHERED.  I THEN HAVE TO DO THE ONLY RIGHT THING AND LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK TO WARN OTHER LEGITIMATE EBAYERS OF WHAT KIND OF PERSON THIS SELLER IS..... BUT OF COURSE, THE MOMENT I DO THAT HE WILL RETALIATE WITH A NEGATIVE FEEDBACK TO ME, WHICH IS NOT JUSTIFIED AND IS TOTALLY WRONG.

SO HE PUTS YOU AS THE SELLER INTO A SITUATION THAT YOU FEEL YOU DONT WANT TO LEAVE ACCURATE FEEDBACK IN FEAR OF IT LOOKING BAD ON YOUR FEEDBACK RATING.

SURELY EBAY MUST BE ABLE TO DO SOMTHING TO PREVENT RETALIATION FEEDBACKS BEING LEFT AND TO TRY AND MAKE THE FEEDBACK SYSTEM TO BE FAIR.

I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR OTHER PEOPLES POINTS OF VIEW ON THIS MATTER AND SEE HOW YOU HAVE OR WOULD DEAL WITH A SIMILAR SITUATION.
