BFPO postage costs

Many buyers from us have their registered address as a British Forces Postal Office number and for whatever reason it comes up that they are foreign buyers and pay for International postage, at times this can be more than double than UK postage prices.

If you need to put a post code in please use your full BFPO address but do not include town or country and for the postcode use HA4 6DQ (This is the BFPO postcode)

All postage costs to BFPO addresses are exactly the same as posting to the UK.

At times BFPO buyers from us (so I am sure they must do it elsewhere!) will pay the international postage charges straight away. This will not happen if you use HA4 6DQ as your postcode, you will only be charged UK postage rates

If you are serving at a BFPO address and you have not updated your EBAY address to have the above postcode, before paying for your item(s) mail the seller and let them know that you are at a BFPO address and 9 times out of 10 they will send you a revised invoice with UK postage charges. I KNOW WE DO!

A lot of sellers will also give discounts on the item you are buying when posting to BFPO addresses, as they are more than happy to give a discount to service personnel who are proudly serving their country.
