Had mine 1 year it's a 1995 Classic,full panniers and topbox kit,heated grips and a Corbin seat.
For sure it's a very heavy bike, but once you are moving it's fine.
I went to the Manx Grand Prix last year and it took me and all the kit for camping for 9 nights.
The power is very smooth and it's more about torque than lots of BHP.
I have done about 5000 on the tyres and they have hardly worn at all.
The fairing is the most outstanding feature on the bike it keeps you dry even in a downpour.
MPG.I get 50 to 55 to the gallon when taking it easy which usually means 65/70 cruising speed.
The finish on this model is great, none of the peeling engine paint which you get on later models.
The heated grips are great too and make cold trips no problem.
So as you can see I get on fine with mine.
So if you want an easy to get on with sort on machine which will take you in comfort to your destination this could well be the bike your looking for.
