Bond Classic knitting machines

These are really good quality knitting machines, and very easy to learn to use. You can learn to use them in an evening, and do lots of fancy stitches on them, as well as intarsia (picture knitting) and also fair isle, sometimes also called jaquard. Do be aware when these machines are described as "never out of the box" as all bond machines were supplied with a complementary ball of wool and roll of shirring elastic, often absent from the pictures!

When bidding make sure the machine is complete:

knitting bed

2 table clamps

carraige (with yarn guide)

4 keyplates

latch tool

1 and 3 prong tool

3 prong tool

1 yellow card

4 green cards

cast on hem

clamps (usually 3 look like small clothes pegs)

2 weights

wax ring ( to lubricate the keyplates)

instruction books

some of them also come with row counters and yarn grabbers (later model classic plus)
