Bought this model to replace a previous Bosch iron in the same price range which had been very good. However I have been struggling with the B4 since day one.
The steam hardly seems to come through the little holes, making it necessary to go over the same surface several times to make it wrinkle free. The steam boost doesn't really produce any steam and the spray shoots a small jet of water somewhere into the distance, never where it is needed.
Filling the iron is also not much fun. It can only be filled with a tiny trickle at a time, as long as you have the iron at exactly the right angle, otherwise the hole fills with air and the water doesn't go into the iron, just spurts back and lands on your foot. Needs frequent filling too, considering how little steam is produced from the iron.
Considering the cost of this iron (I paid £50) the performance is pretty pathetic, I think a Value iron would have done the job better. Would not buy it again, and am not considering replacing it with another Bosch, which is a shame because until now I have been pleased with their products.
