Written by Jill Barklem and first published in the autumn of 1980, Brambly Hedge is a series of books featuring the adventures of a hedgerow community of mice. In 1983 Royal Doulton began production of the characters from the books as a series of figures and tableware.
The first figures produced were numbered from DBH1 TO DBH26, with the value of each determined on the length of production, numbers produced and therefore rarity of the figure. Some figures also have colour variations which may add to their value. Note that the value estimates given within guidebooks are generally higher than the prices one would find on Ebay.
