"Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" is a video game spin-off from the Pokemon television series. This popular game series sees players take on the role of a Pokemon of their choice, and move through a randomly-generated dungeon map. There are several games in the series, each with the same basic game play, but with different goals and objectives. "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team" and "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team"

"Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue Team" and "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team" are two separate games that allow players to play in teams via a local network on different game editions. The "Blue Rescue Team" edition is available Nintendo DS console, while the "Red Rescue Team" edition is only available on the Nintendo Game Boy Advance. Before play begins, you take a personality test to discover which of the 16 Pokemons in the game best suits you. "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time", "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness", and "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Space" are available on the Nintendo DS handheld consoles, including the 3DS and 2DS. These games feature maze training levels that allow you to hone your skills. You can communicate with your friends via Wi-Fi, sending SOS messages, and giving or receiving aid. Use treasures and coins you gather during your battles and travels through the dungeons to buy useful items and Pokemon upgrades.


"Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity"

'Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity" is available for the Nintendo 3DS, and makes use of the handheld console's 3D technology. This game uses the 3D controls of the Nintendo 3DS for players to navigate their way around objects and through dungeon portals. Each portal requires specific tasks and missions to unlock them and open the way to new dungeons. You can also activate the augmented reality mode, using the 3DS cameras to scan real-world objects in an attempt to unlock secret dungeons.
