Cutting Dies

As an avid crafter I am always on the lookout for new materials and have found with ebay it is possible to buy them at a fraction of the cost of my local craft store.
Most dies for cutting paper card etc are in excess of £10 when purchased on the high street and there is often little choice .
By purchasing from E Bay stores in places such as America it is possible to obtain a wide variety (often ones that are unavailable here too) for as little as 1/3 of the cost for the equivalent here even taking into account P&P.
The biggest drawback is the fact that they can take a while to arrive but I think that is a very small inconvenience considering the massive monetary saving.
I myself purchased a fairytale castle die and it cost approximately 1/3 of the price of a similar item here. The correspondence with the seller was both friendly and efficient and the quality of the product of a very high standard and I will have no hesitation in using them again.
I would however advise that you take note of the dimensions of items as what looks big/small in a picture can look very different when it lands on your door mat. If you are in any doubt at all ask questions the whole point of e bay messages is that the service is available to help make your purchase as pain free and efficient as possible and when you are shelling out your hard earned cash you want to make sure that you are clear about what you are actually purchasing.
When you find a particular store/seller that you are happy with its often worth opting to receive their newsletter/updates on stock as this can lead to even bigger saving by way of special offers such as free postage etc.
