Hi, i thought i would just give you a quick review of how to buy Diamonds on ebay.
We are a high street retailer of 29 years experience and ebay trader and know for a fact how Diamonds are purchased and what they cost.
While looking around at the competion on ebay i cannot believe the amount of flannel some sellers write to try to impress you. One example "jewellers will add 700% to the cost price of jewellery" this is a blatent lie!! Do not be fooled by this kind of enticement. You may be able to get a better deal online as the running costs of an online store are much lower than running a high street store, but they will have the advantage of being able to show you exactly what you are buying.
Now it sounds like i am trying to put you off buying online, i am not! I just think you need to be vigilant to make sure you get what you pay for. Certificated stones are a guarantee of quality, but this is only good if the certificate is independant!! not supplied by the seller themselves. This can be achieved for as little as £20.00 from the Birmingham Assay Office.
The best way to be sure of your purchase is to use a respected seller and remember you dont get anything worth having for nothing!!
