Buying Second Hand Machines

I always list all the machines I have as accurately as possible!

All my machines have been serviced and are in full working order (unless otherwise stated)

Gears etc can fail at any point in a machines life and unfortunately there is no well of telling with most machines when or if these will fail. This is why you do not see many of the 1960-70's singer machines in my shop because these are notorious of going wrong!

Dont be fooled by the cheap deals you will see in the supermarkets for new machines costing under £100, even the branded versions are usually rubbish and we see them in the workshop usually within weeks of these going on sale regardless of manufactures guarantee. You will find it hard to buy a good sewing machine for much under £300. Quite often a good second hand sewing machine will outperform a modern machine made in a factory god knows where!
