Say Goodbye to SCART forever!

Hello High Definition Television...
IF BUYING A HD READY TV FROM A HIGH STREET OR OUT OF TOWN ELECTRICAL RETAILER, BEWARE THAT THEY ARE OUT TO RIP YOU OFF WHEN IT COMES TO HD CABLES!

Have you been to your local electrical retailers lately? Notice the MASSIVE TV in the Window or slapping you round the face as you walk in the door?

ALSO look at the demo playing on the screen, water droplets on rose petals, Champagne bubbling in a glass and the ever faithful man jumping out of an aircraft at 20,000 feet with a technicoloured parachute and snowboard strapped to his feet!

HD (High Definition) Television is HERE!

And you can get it now by simply buying a TV that displays the logo above and subscribing to a provider such as SkyHD.

If you are about to go out and buy your New Plasma or LCD TV, BEWARE of the pushy young student salesman in the electrical retailer shop who will try and sell you HDMI Cables for your new TV!

High Definition Multimedia Interface

Yes, you will need an HDMI Cable of course to enjoy High definition but you certainly do not need to pay through the nose for a high quality cable... I know one retail outlet that is a "MONSTER" when it comes to selling you cables that will cost £90 pounds plus!

The reason I am writing this is because you can get superb HIGH Quality 24k Gold Plated HDMI Cables right here on ebay for a fraction of the price and they offer the exact same quality and performance.

What is HDMI?

The High-Definition Multi-media Interface (HDMI) is an industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video interface. HDMI provides an interface between any compatible digital audio/video source, such as a SkyHD set-top box, DVD player, and A/V receiver and a compatible digital audio and/or video monitor, such as a Plasma or LCD TV or Monitor.

The HDMI Cables you buy in Specialist AV Shops or Electronic retailers are extreemly expensive and no matter what the sales guy in the shop may tell you, he is only trying to get you to pay their prices.
I would imagine they get a nice bonus if they sell a HDMI Cable along with a TV!

ALWAYS REMEMBER, WHENEVER BUYING ANY TV ACCESSORY

Check out ebay first! My ebay shop has an array of HDMI Cables,
2 metre, 5 metre and also HDMI to DVI Interconnects.

Don't get stung by High Street electrical retailers!
