Through my User Car Parts Finder Ebay shop I have been selling used parts on Ebay for over a decade. I sell many used parts to buyers who are looking for replacement parts for there vehicles. Saving them money on the cost of new parts. They are fitting them themselves or are asking a garage to fit them on there behalf.

There can be a lot of wasted time money and unnecessary disappointment if the part bought are incorrect and does not fit! You have the delay of getting buying a second correct part, the time in returning the incorrect part. If a garage is fitting the part they may also charge you extra labour, to remove your part to find your Ebay purchased replacement part is not compatible.

Ebay has system to help you locate parts by confirming  your make, model and age of you car to confirm part compatibility this is not always  correct. The best way to be 100% sure to to take the time and match any part numbers on the part that the vehicle manufactures have stamped or labeled on the unit. This also so helps you when searching on Ebay listings as more sellers now are listing manufactures part numbers in there listing headings.

For example Mercedes A Class 168 models lead there part numbers A16* *** ** **, some Rover part numbers will start Y**  ****** and so on.  Please take the time to find your part numbers if you can.  This information gives you the chance to make the right purchase as well we all know the power of knowledge in life is key. There is also ask the question option on Ebay listings, if a seller looks like there  selling the right part but no numbers are listed you can always ask them for the part numbers to be confirmed.
