There are millions of Cath Kidston fans all over the world.

This brilliant talented designer has bought her own unique style to our homes and ourselves.

I have a personal interest with Cath Kidston and hate to see her designs abused in any way.

I look though EBAY most days but especially the Cath Kidston selection of goods on offer.

Most sellers on EBAY do sell genuine Cath Kidston fabric but unfortunately, there is a growing trend to copy or attribute certain fabrics to her designs, when this is simply not the case.

So, how can you tell if it is genuine or not, simple, by following these steps.

1} If you do not recognize a design. then please don't buy before checking .Ring your nearest Cath Kidston outlet and check with the staff that this is one of her designs. If you suspect you have been sold a fake design please firstly get it identified as a fake by checking with Cath Kidston  and once confirmed, please report the matter to EBAY.

2} Beware imports.

3} Cath Kidston fabrics are produced as Cotton Duck, Linen or Oilcloth , however over the past year she has introduced her 'Haberdashery Range' which is a softer cotton.

4} Reasons why not to buy 'fakes' a} The fabric will be inferior.  b} The fabric may not be suitable for your needs and therefore is likely to wear out much quicker. c} Basically, it is design copyright theft, if you buy fake fabric then make this up into an item to sell and the buyer complains or worse still something happens as a result, I hope you have deep pockets !

I hope that you will find this review helpful and hopefully will save you falling into the pitfall of the fake.
