DO IT YOURSELF AND COST YOURSELF £££ MORE- with topup cans!

Did you know they are not even the correct gas often a dangerous flammable type

SOME MORE FACTS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT  DIY CANS OF REFRIGERANT!!!

SOME  "ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY" CANS OF R134a REPLACEMENT, CONTAIN HFO-1234YF, THIS IS EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE. IT BURNS AT 600 DEGREES C, WHEN IT BURNS IT FORMS HYDROGEN FLOURIDE WHICH WHEN MIXED WITH WATER DECOMPOSES INTO HYDROFLOURIC ACID, A HIGHLY TOXIC ACID. IN A FRONT END COLLISION THE AIR CON CONDENSER IS POSITIONED AT THE FRONT OF THE CAR THE RISK OF FIRE IS SIGNIFICANTLY INCERASED WITH HFO-1234YF.

AIR CON SYSTEMS ARE CHARGED BY WEIGHT, THIS CAN NOT BE DONE ACCURATELY FROM A CAN. TO MUCH OR TO LITTLE REFRIGERANT  WILL DAMAGE THE COMPRESSOR  LEADING TO A REPAIR COSTING HUNDREDS.

FILLING AN EMPTY SYSTEM WITHOUT PROPER EVACUATION LEAVES AIR AND MOISTURE PRESENT, THIS GIVES HIGH HEAD PRESSURE AND CAN LEAD TO A BUILD UP OF CORROSIVE CHEMICALS WHICH WILL CAUSE THE SYSTEM TO FAIL.

I love these cans really as it gives me so much work... Top one is air con compressor - it seized up when going on holiday down motorway and ripped all my drive belts off.
