Italian Charm Composible/Modular Charm Bracelet

This type of charm bracelet works by linking individual spring loaded links together to form a bracelet, a bit like a watch strap. The concept was first invented back in the 1920's in America, so they have been around for a while! Most wearers start off with a plain or patterned "Base" or "starter" bracelet, then choose individual patterned or etched charms to suit. The patterned charms can replace the plain charms in the starter bracelet and the plain charms can be used to start another bracelet.

The range and scope for this type of charm bracelet is only limited by your imagination! However this type of charm cannot be used on either the traditional or European type of charm bracelets.

At JSC Jewellery with our brand of Daisy Charm Italian charms we are able to offer you a large range of stock and custom made designs to suit you. Our most popular custom charm being the Name and Date. To make sure you don't miss out on our huge range of designs we would recommend you filtering your eBay search in the jewellery department to Style - "Italian Modular" and searching for "Daisy Charm". Unfortunately there are many unbranded Italian charms available on eBay, which are manufactured with little consistency so that you quite literally “do not know where they have come from” it could be a factory’s first time at manufacturing Italian Charms or one that adds unacceptable amounts of Nickel knowing that as they are unbranded they are unlikely to be traced; we would recommend you exercise caution when buying charms which show Disney, Betty Boop, Hello Kitty characters etc as these are often unlicensed and unbranded and unlikely to be manufactured with quality controls in place.

How to get the right type of charm for your bracelet

As an established charm seller on eBay of over 10 years, we have a huge wealth of knowledge on the charm bracelet market. We still get customers on eBay who have problems finding the correct type of charm for their bracelet. As each type can only be used on the bracelet it was designed for this can cause problems. This confusion mainly lies in the way customers search for items on eBay and the fact that due to their larger marketing budgets certain types of charms are becoming known by their brand names only and not by their generic names such as European, Italian charm, traditional etc. Please be aware when searching that you can filter by style to ensure you get the right type as detailed above. Don't become "brand blind" and just search for a particular brand names as you may be missing out on the hundreds of other smaller and up and coming brands and designers. For example with your Italian charm bracelet don't just search for "Nomination" the brand, search "Italian charms" and your options will be considerably widened. Most of all enjoy your charm bracelet whatever type you have!
