Do you live anywhere near Birmingham? Do you have children? Ever struggled getting there hair cut?
Then read this review.

Recently opened in south Birmingham is a hairdressers called Little Snippers, it's predominantly aimed at children but they also cut adults hair.

It's located close (5 mins) from M5 & M42. There email and website is hair @ littlesnippers .net

Although they don't work on appointments like most normal salons, (you simply walk in) you can arrange times to have hi-lites etc done.

The salon itself is great, it's really big with a separate corner bit for the kids to play, soft mats, mirrors, drawings, games etc. Last time I was there they had "The Goonies" playing; it's also got a Nintendo games console to keep the little ones busy.

Children’s haircuts are just £6, ladies & gents cuts are just £7.00, wet cuts, blow drys from £6.50, Hi-lites from £17.50, inc cut blow dry, I think ear piercing is £8 for both ears, I've been to most hairdresser’s in the area and not been able to find one with entertainment to keep the little ones busy. In addition to the fun stuff they have free soft drinks for the kids and tea/coffee for the grown ups!

Children with special needs are more than welcome. The staff has been cutting children’s hair with special needs for over 7 years now (nearly 15yrs in total) so rest assured you’re in safe experienced hands.

They have some funky little children’s cutting chairs with lots of kid’s accessories to keep them amused.

Toilet facilities and baby changing is available if needed.

I've was told from September there will be a beauty section for nails, manicures, pedicures, extensions etc and pamper parties for kids.

So, if you have troublesome little ones that always fight and play up when you take them to the hairdressers then this is the place to take them. The best part is you can get your own hair cut at the same time!!...

I'll update the report/guide as soon as I know about the nails/beauty etc.
