My top 3 Christmas gifts

Last Christmas my son was 5 months old and at that age I found it quite difficult to know what toys to buy. So I have written this guide to give any parents with children in that age range an idea of the 3 toys that would be worth getting them.

The Fisher-Price Rainforest Jumperoo

After buying my son this for Christmas last year, I can honestly say this is a MUST have toy.
With it's bright colours, lights and rainforest sounds that are activated when baby bounces or spins the barrel, it is suitable once little one can hold their own head unaided.
It has 3 adjustable height settings that can be changed as baby grows and is much more secure than traditional door bouncers, giving parents peace of mind.
Having various little activity toys around it and a comfortable seat, with removable cover for washing, that rotates 360 degrees, it encourages developing motor skills and strengthens little legs.
This product is easy to assemble and can be folded for storage.

When I first put my son in his jumperoo and he realised he could bounce freely and as much as he liked, there was no stopping him.
Having brought the toy brand new off Ebay, after shopping around for the cheapest price, once my son outgrew it, I sold it back on Ebay for almost the same amount I brought it for, so they certainly hold their value.

The Fisher-Price Cruise & Groove Ballapalooza

Although I didn't buy this for Christmas, I did but this for my sons 1st Birthday and it is highly recommended.
Suitable for baby from 6 months plus, going from sit & play, to crawl & chase, to stand & cruise, it encourages developing motor skills.
It comes with 8 colourful balls that sitting babies that can drop onto the ramps and watch them race down the chutes, little crawlers can drop and chase balls and crawl through the gate and when baby is ready to stand and cruise, they can pop the balls into the bounce back chute and bop the inflatable ball as they cruise around the frame.
With it's bright colours, dancing lights and musical beats, it stimulates little one's senses and keeps them entertained.

Surprisingly the music on this toy is not the usual annoying baby toy music, it is actually quite funky techno and with the flashing lights, it's like a disco.
The only con about this product is that it's quite big once set up.

First Steps Walker

Although I didn't buy this for Christmas, I did buy my son one when he was 9 months old and it is an highly recommended toy.
It is suitable for little one from 6 months plus and encourages, motor skills, hand to eye co-ordination and senses.
With it's detachable play tray and sturdy design it keeps little one entertained and helps nurture their first steps.
It is easy to assemble & small and compact for easy storage.

My son originally had a sit in walker but he didn't like it so I brought him one of these first step walkers and he loved it. Personally I think these encourage walking much better than the sit in ones.
