Cloth pads? what are they? how do they work?

1) These are a reusable sanitary pad alternative to disposable products, which means they are great for the environment!!!
2) If cleaned and dried correctly they can last for years
3) Yes it can be expensive but the fact is as once you have you're supply you won't need to spend a penny for a good few years.
4) Things you may want to have: some eco friendly stain remover, it's not needed but it's there for you if you need it I personally don't use it I simply rinse through and pop them in the wash on a low heat and they come out lovely and clean, Another item you may want to have is a wet bag, these are so cheat to pick up and all you do is clip the pads closed and pop them in the wet bag until you are ready to clean them, don't worry you won't have to clean them every day.
5) It may also be handy to get yourself a small wet bag for on the go.
6) I'd say that if you have a regular flow throughout you will need roughly 8 pads.

If you want to try them out but you don't have the money to there is lot's of cheap fabrics on here and there are so many 'how to make' videos in fact precious star do one that brilliant, so before you decide have a look at all of her videos she won me over on them.

Not only are they good for the environment, save you money in the long run but they add a bit of fun to that time of the month, there's lot's of styles and colours to try!
