DO NOT BUY FLASH MEMORY FROM eBay

There is an alarming trend going on within eBay.

Unfortunately hundreds if not thousand are falling prey to this crime, FAKE flash memory cards.

Be it Memory Stick Pro Duo, Micro SD, standard SD, Memory Stick Pro the list goes ON and ON and ON.

There is no sure fire way of telling a fake from a genuine on here as the perpetrators say its 100% genuine, original SONY and all the rest of it to try and lull everyone into a false sense of security.

Its not until you get it on your doorstep, and do some checking out that you realize you've been scammed.

And to a certain extent it works, people fall prey to wanting a cheap memory card, but at what cost??

Fake cards can mess up whatever hardware you are putting them into be it a digital camera, a PSP, a mobile phone.

For example a fake memory stick pro duo can actually get stuck inside a PSP and involves possibly damaging your psp in order to remove it!!

The data that you store on these memory cards could be considered precious and irriplacable, and using one of these fake cards can end up making you lose that data FOREVER.

One such fraudster who uses the user ID: global_memory_machine is a typical example, he states that the memory cards are genuine BUT they are all fake.

You only have to delve a little deeper into his deceptive feedback, (yes it appears good, but only because so many unsuspecting buyers have been duped) and you'll see that SOME but hardly enough to make a dent in his feedback have actually gotten wise to his scam.

eBay need to make more of an effort to curb this illigal trading I have reported this particular person, but eBay seem to not be bothered to make an example by banning him, instead letting him continue to peddle his illigal couterfeit goods under the umbrella of ignorance.

DONT FALL PREY TO THESE DISPICABLE CROOKS BUY YOUR MEMORY CARDS FROM ELSEWHERE OTHER THAN EBAY!!

There are websites out there that specialize in memory cards only a LITTLE bit more than what these scammers are charging,

but at least you know its the genuine article and you are investing in a piece of equipment worthy of your precious photos, music, or game saves.
