I see so many new ebay sellers get a new account and start posting new items on ebay like there's no tomorrow. That's all well and good but don't forget that eBay need paying too!
I sell ebooks for a living and you could say I'm way down in the food chain with reference to how much my eBay fees are. That's not to say that they can't rack up to quite a bit if I don't keep an eye on them. Where this is concerned eBay don't have patience (and why should they?). I suppose what I'm trying to say is treat your ebay seller account like a business.
Treat eBay Like A Business
If you opened up a sweetie shop and started selling lots of bon bons, sherbet dips etc and instead of reinvesting your profits you spent that money on something else. Pretty soon you won't have a shop left. I know it's a basic example but the same principles that work offline work online too!
In some cases I've seen some terrific ebay sellers selling lots of inventory but fail to keep up their costs and get their account suspended. This isn't any good to anyone and leaves your reputation in shreds.
My advice would be to make a payment to ebay once every couple of days with the "one time payment" option. This way you'll be able to keep your account up to date!
