MORE AND MORE SELLERS ARE USING THIS-BUT ASK YOURSELF WHY?
They are pushing you for positive feedback before you have a proper chance to test your purchases.once you leave this -if you have later problems there is very little you can do to warn others or get them to rectify your problems.
once you notify them about problems you then enter a very lengthy time wasting excessive to try and establish the cause of your problems-but they have no genuine interest in this-just to span out the time untill its too late to use the pay-pal protection scheme.you are also then liable for posting your goods back and forth.
IF YOU LEAVE NEGATIVE -they will leave worse comments on your account They then hope you want to get this removed-so theirs is removed also (mutual consent-or blackmail tactics?)
When checking feedback scores look for the hidden retractions-these are all unhappy buyers who in most cases are bullied into retracting their comments Look to see the comments they have left for other people who left them negative and judge for yourself their reasons.
JSM Distributors amongst many others i have noticed use this tactic,yet i know now of many unhappy clients with broken machines etc that cant get any satisfaction with sorting out problems.I myself was very lucky as i had my money refunded by pay pal, yet you only have very limited time from purchase date to use this route. Pleas read my review on the above mentioned company. since writing it i have had contact with no less than 10 people -some who admit to foolishly leaving feedback too soon.
Once notified of problems you then enter a very lengthy time scale to get answers etc-these delaying tactics are deliberately used to stop you making even a paypal claim within the time scale.
So my advice to all -if your sellers states this "i will leave positive feedback when i have received yours" look for retractions and bide your time, A good seller has no reason to leave any bad comment once you have paid them have they? As far as they should be concerned you have fulfilled your part of the bargain so WHY DO THEY WANT TO WAIT? -So they can retaliate if they dont like yours-its as simple as that! WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO HIDE ?
Also check very carefully the returns policy-who is liable for the costs etc? what can you do if you are still not satisfied?What happens if they still say its in good working order even though you know it isnt ? or when your goods are returned back to you and still dont work ? or worse still more damaged than ever? Some companies claim to have checked the goods and can find nothing wrong-blame user error and you are then also liable for their engineers labour costs as well. some of these companies have terms and conditions that are simply wrong and you may as well kiss your money goodbye.
SO please friends-We all like good feedback,but THINK BEFORE YOU HIT THAT BUTTON.PLEASE_IF ONLY FOR EVERYONE ELSES SAKE.Lets stop these tactics on ebay they are ruining what was fun
DONT EXPECT EBAY TO DO ANYTHING EITHER>THEY DONT WANT TO LOSE ALL THE REVENUE FROM THESE SELLERS WHO ARE INCIDENTALLY USUALLY POWER SELLERS-no offence to the good guys out there!If your a good seller im sure you wouldn t use this tactic in the first instance. so please be carefull.
