feedback is important, it shows other ebay members the kind of seller/buyer that we are. I feel when a buyer has made payment within the 3 day deadline, the buyer has proved themselves worthy of receiving feedback. When feedback hasn't been left for a buyer and if buyer contacts seller asking if they would leave feedback, many sellers have said:- I will only leave feedback after it has been left for me, i then will not leave any feedback. i got bitten when i paid for a top, seller emailed me, requesting feedback and i hadn't received the top. when i received the top, i was annoyed, it was grubby with stains on it, i pre treated the top with stain remover, put it into the washing machine, the dirty marks were still on the top, seller either had 2 of the same top, or the garment had been pictured from the back, i couldn't do anything about it as i had left seller positive feedback, i put the top in the bin. i learned a lesson, not to leave feedback until i receive the item, so if seller wants feedback left for them, before they decide to leave feedback for the buyer, i wont leave any. i only leave negative if i have had to open a case for INR and seller cannot provide proof of postage, only then will i leave negative feedback.
