Ok so you got your ticket and are so excited you could explode. You are now faced with what to bring to wear, hmm well I have been to many festivals in my time and the one place where you  don't want to get caught short is a three day festival in the middle of a field.

To get in the spirit of the festival you are required to find your inner child..festivals are places to drop the city image and let go, be a space cadet, a disco queen, a hippy or a fairy for a couple of days.

Ok so now you have to decide on a few funky pieces to pack, a funky hat is a simple one, a cowboy hat, or a knitted hat for the evenings mabe.

A furry waistcoat, that can go over a summer dress for the evenings. Layers are best so you can shed as things heat up or add as the evening draws in.

A shawl, something you can sit on or wrap around you..or sleep on for that matter.

Flip flops are great for during the day, I recommend tough boots or wellingtons for the onslaught of mud, cold evenings or heavy dance sessions, you will want to protect your feet in large crowds.

Sun shades, sun cream, a bottle carrier for water or booze, get yours filled at the bar pump and save on glass/plastic use

Throw away camera, or cheap digital or phone camera.,

A large flag or balloon to attach to your tent if camping, decorate your area with bunting, tinsel, so you can find your tent easily.

Remember there may not be a phone signal, arrange meeting areas before hand. Bring change for phone box use..if you can find one that is.

Wet wipes, bin bags, loo roll, money belt, a towel and mini toiletries. (you may have a distance to walk to the car with your gear) pack lightly

Forget items of value, heels, laptop, work worries, bills to pay and have a great time!!
