Four weddings and £40!

We've all been there! It's THAT year when EVERYONE seems to be getting married.  So, how do you manage to find (and afford) enough dresses to get you through it? Simple -  capsule wardrobe time ladies!  We've all heard of capsule wardrobes, something most of us mere mortals think that some Chanel account manager somewhere has, looking cool and amazing every day of her life.  But what does it really mean to have a 'capsule piece'?
Really it's a great idea to find yourself a decent quality black dress.  You can obviously use other colours too but it's better to stick to a block colour dress without any other colours mixed in.

Ebay is amazing for finding pieces like this.  Always buy a brand you know and trust eg Monsoon, Phase Eight etc, that way you will know that it's a good quality piece.  You can get some beautiful items often brand new or only worn once.  Once you have chosen your capsule piece then comes the fun part!  Accessorising!!! My advice is to go bright.  Add some pearls, a corsage, a fascinator or  a belt (or all of them!).  All of these things can be found cheaply either in the shops or on ebay ( the flower corsages in the pictures cost 99p).  Add a glittery belt , bracelet and some heels (get a pair of nude/cream heels as well as black, you'll find no end of use for them) and you have a dress that looks ( and feels!) different each time you wear it!
