Something to eat

Breastfeeding is free and the best for your baby. However, you'll need a few things to make your breastfeeding journey a little easier.
Breastpads are a must! Why not consider getting some reusable ones which can be washed time and again to keep costs down?
Maternity bras are also very handy for feeding at the drop of a hat. Bundles of second hand bras can be found very cheaply on eBay for a fraction of the price of high end brands.

Something to wear

In the first few months there is no need for fancy outfits for babies - all they care about is that they are warm, clean and comfy. Babygrows and vests are a must! As babies grow out of clothes so quickly, second hand clothes are usually in excellent condition and are a great bargain. Have a look on ebay for a newborn bundle to snap up!

Keeping baby safe

Some of the things that can keep your baby safe and comfortable are:

Transporting baby

Though it is important to purchase a new baby car seat the rest of the travel system can be bought second hand. Have a look on eBay for local pram sales in your area.
Also, consider investing in a sling/carrier to carry baby about on your body. They can be handy for carrying baby hands-free and mean you can do other things while baby stays close by. You can google to see if there is a local sling library near you which enables you to try out different slings before deciding which suits you the best.
