If you dont loose the fat then you will never see your abs. Basically these are the tricks i'm using to cut down my body fat % to see my six pack. They are military secrets.

Focus on the big guns fist
More muscle on the body the more fat you will burn with no extra effort. More muscle will help raise the metabolism throughout the day

Train early to burn early
Training early in the morning jumps tarts your metabolism and shifts it into high gear to burn fat all day long...and you don't need to be a soldier to take advantage of that! Try to get your workout in as early as possible in the day to ratchet up your body's natural fat-burning abilities before your metabolism slows down in the evening.

Exercise on an empty Stomach
If you have sugar in blood when exercising it will use that straight away, then glycogen stored in muscle and slowly starting to burn fat but must get through glycogen fist.
When you eat food there is sugar in blood stream. Make sure you do your cardio 2 hours after having a meal.

Use bodyweight exercise to build muscle
Pushups, sit-ups, pull-ups etc. Muscles must work together as unit; balance factor comes into play etc. Activate your central nervous system.

Do cardio training AFTER strength training
Because with strength training the muscles (high intensity) the body uses muscle glycogen – most readily available energy source. If it uses this glycogen then by the time you begin cardio it will use the fat as energy. Do LOW intensity cardio now high intensity after your muscle workout, this flushes the metabolized fat back into the system instead of storing it.

Stop Dieting
Diets do not work. They make people miserable. Once you get off the diet you will gain all the weight back straight away. Counting calories does not work. Soldiers do not count calories!
‘Don’t give up the cheeseburgers’ – Instead of getting 2 get ONE, but first start off and get a salad, or apple – eat this FIRST. This will help fill up the stomach and you will eat less junk.

Failure is not an option
Once you get the weight down, the more muscle and less fat you have on your body. With all this 24 hour fat burning the easier it is going to be to maintain this fat % and stay lean.
