GHD Straighteners

I would like to update e-bayers on my dilemma about fake GHD straighteners.  Following my my 2 complaints in respect of the two sets of GHD straighteners from 2 sellers on e-bay I would advise all e-bayers that I followed through both of my paypal claims in respect of these straighteners.

The outcome was positive. Despite  Paypal being very stringent in respect of requesting evidence and time limiting responses to their requests from both the seller and buyer, they have been extremely thorough but fair in respect of my claim.  Both my claims were successful and I received a full refund plus postage and packing charges.  If anyone wishes any advice on how I pursued both claims I am only too willing to give helpful advice.

I would advise anyone who has any concerns with regard to sellers or buyers in respect of goods bought or sold,  to pursue their complaint via paypal if they use this method of payment.  I would add that when sellers or buyers are concerned about their purchases or sales to contact the buyer or seller via e-bay and if pursuing a claim via paypal to open a dispute via paypal.  Paypal will open a dialogue between the buyer and seller and there is then evidence of both parties responses and this will add weight to the complainants dispute.

I hope this is of assistance to e-bayers.  I would add that I have had several responses to my previous guides about this issue. Other  e-bayers who have bought GHD straighteners which are genuine products have advised me that there are reputable dealers for this product on e-bay. I believe that there are but I was alerted that there are sellers who are not from reading previous guides.  Just be careful who you buy these from and check on the GHD hologram site to verify that they are.  It is also wise to contact GHD by e-mail or telephone if you receive a message on the internet site that they may be counterfeit, as a representative from GHD will verify if they are genuine or not.  Another source of assistance is your local Trading Standards Office who will help with any product you have any concerns with.
