Gatik was born After operating for almost a decade in the jewellery industry, we felt that there was a gap in the men’s jewellery market for sophisticated yet urban looking, high quality and affordable jewellery. From this void Gatik Men’s Stainless Steel Jewellery was born in 2005. ‘Gatik’ means progressive in Sanskrit and this word embodies the brand; to improve, to move forward to offer something new for the jewellery industry. To appeal to our designer conscious society, the collection was designed by Mr Yuval Gat and Mr Yakir Falik, both passionate about jewellery and with strong background in the jewellery trade. They developed Gatik according to a set of themes, keywords and imagery. Gatik embraces the idea that a piece of jewellery is more than just an accessory; it reveals something about the wearer. Therefore Gatik was designed to offer wide variety of styles which appeals to a large market. The collection targets a man that leads a modern lifestyle and wants to dress with a sense of casual sophistication. High quality steel was chosen because of its colour, durability, and price. To complement the modern shapes of each piece different materials, finishes and colours were used to achieve an innovative finish. The result was a stylish and urban looking assortment of mini collections that can be mixed and matched enabling the wearer to collect the whole set. Gatik Ladies Building on Gatik’s tremendous success in the UK and abroad, following customer requests we decided to launch a complementary ladies collection in 2009.
