There are tons of fake Fred Perry goods out on E-bay. I've recently had experience buying a fake item from a UK seller. Here's how to spot the difference by looking at the inner tag (washing instructions) REAL - silky tag featuring the Fred Perry laurel, country of manufacture, style number, fabric. On the back side: washing instructions, usually in English, French, German & Spanish. It might say 'Made in Malaysia' or 'Made in China' but it might not necessarily mean it is fake. Fakes do not normally state the country of manufacture. The main tag: REAL - the fred perry laurel in yellow in the middle followed by the FRED PERRY name also in the middle. The size is usually put in the top right hand corner. FAKE - fred perry laurel in white in the top left hand corner followed by the FRED PERRY name on the left and size just underneath it. Hope this will be of any help to you.
