WELCOME TO THE FORD CENTRE.WE ARE A FAMILY RUN BUSINESS,WE SPECIALISE IN GENUINE FORD PARTS.WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN WHAT WE DO HERE AT THE FORD CENTRE.

WE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE SOME OF OUR KNOWLEDGE ON HOW TO REMOVE AND REFIT  PARTS FOR FORD CARS.WE CAN ALSO GIVE ADVICE ON ANY PARTS THAT YOU REQUIRE ASSISTANCE WITH.

HOW TO REMOVE AND REFIT A HEADLIGHT THE FORD CENTRE WAY  FOR A FORD PUMA 1997 - 2002

TO REMOVE THE HEADLIGHT YOU WILL NEED TO REMOVE THE FRONT GRILLE WHICH SHOULD UNCLIP.

YOU WILL THEN SEE 2 SCREWS BY THE HEADLIGHT THESE WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED USING A TOOL CALLED A TORX IN THIS CASE A TORX30(THIS IS SOMETIMES CALLED A STAR SCREWDRIVER).

THERE IS A HEADLIGHT BRACKET(USUALLY BLACK PLASTIC) THIS HAS A PLASTIC CLIP WHICH NEEDS TURNING ANTI - CLOCKWISE.

THE HEADLIGHT WILL NOW RELEASE FORWARD

ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THIS YOU WILL NEED TO DISCONNECT THE WIRES AND CONNECTIONS FROM THE BACK OF THE LIGHT(THESE ARE CONNECTED BY CLIPS)

CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY REMOVED A HEADLIGHT.

HOW TO REFIT A HEADLIGHT FOR A FORD PUMA THE FORD CENTRE WAY.

YOU WILL FIRSTLY NEED TO RECONNECT THE WIRES AND CONNECTIONS INTO THE HEADLIGHT.YOU WILL NEED TO TEST THAT THE HEADLIGHT IS WORKING CORRECTLY BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER.

IF YOU ARE SATISFIED THAT THE LIGHT IS WORKING CORRECTLY YOU CAN THEN POSITION THE HEADLIGHT.

YOU WILL THEN NEED TO REPLACE THE TWO SCREWS USING THE TORX30(USUALLY CALLED A STAR SCREWDRIVER).PLEASE REMEMBER NOT TO OVER TIGHTEN.

TURN THE PLASTIC CLIP CLOCKWISE(THIS IS SITUATED ON THE HEADLIGHT BRACKET USUALLY BLACK PLASTIC).THIS NOW SECURES THE HEADLIGHT.

FINALLY SECURE THE GRILLE INTO POSITION CORRECTLY.
