This is a guide aimed specifically at our customers, although the sizes given below are generally quite consistent throughout the world of hats.
How do I measure my head?
Measuring for your head size is both an art and a science. You can use a tape measure or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure to determine the length. Place the string or tape around you head about 1/8” above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. Once you have obtained your head size, compare it to the chart below. We recommend that you use a centimetre measurement for the most accurate fit.
If your measurement falls between sizes, we suggest that you choose the next largest size, so if you measure 58cm we recommend that you choose the Large size, which is usually 59cm.
If you do fall between sizes and are concerned about finding the correct fit please give us a call and we can measure a couple of hats and find the best fit for you.
PLEASE NOTE: BRANDS FROM NORTH AMERICA USE NORTH AMERICAN SIZES. EXAMPLE: TILLEY, NEW ERA, JAXON, BAILEY AND STETSON WILL BE LABELED AND SIZED WITH THE US/CANADIAN SIZING.
