Working out how many widths you need...

Glitter fabric wallpaper typically comes in widths of 1.32 metres (52 inches) and is sold by linear metre lengths.
First you need to work out how many widths of glitter wallpaper is needed. To do this:
  1.  Measure the width of your wall  in metres,
  2. Divide the wall width by the width of your glitter wallpaper.
  3. The calculation then should be rounded up to the next whole number.
For example, if your wall is 4.5 metres wide, you would divide this by the width of the glitter wallpaper, 1.32 metres. Which would be 4.5 / 1.32 = 3.4. This figure then needs to be rounded up to the next whole number, in this case to 4, meaning you need 4 widths of glitter wallpaper.
Using the calculation above, we now know you need 4 widths of glitter wallpaper to cover your wall.
Now we need to work out how many linear metres you need to order. To do this:
  1. Measure the length (drop) of your wall in metres.
  2. Add an extra 0.1m (10 cm) to this measurement to allow for cutting.
For example, if your wall was 2.3 metres in length, with the extra 0.1m, it would be 2.4 metres.
Now we have two figures: the number of widths required (in our example, it is 4 widths) and the measurement for the length of your wall (in our example it is 2.4).

One final calculation is now required....

Simply multiply the number of widths required by the length of your wall and then round this up to the next whole number.
For example, if you need 4 widths of glitter wallpaper and your wall is 2.4 metres in length, the calculation would be 4 x 2.4 = 9.6, which would then be rounded up to 10.
This number (in our example it is 10) is the amount of linear metres you will need to order to cover your wall in the stunning glitter wallpaper.
