Knowing how to measure yourself is the key for a successful look. We at Italiano Casa Di Moda  Fashion store bring you a step-by-step easy guide that will help you to determine the perfect jacket, pants and shirt size for you. Taking your measurements is easy with a measuring tape and good posture. Make sure that the tape lays flat, and that the area you're measuring is in natural position.

JACKET MEASUREMENT

Option 1: With your arms at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest, across shoulder blades and under arms. The chest measurement is usually the size of the Jacket. You may add 1 inch to the measurement for a more comfortable fit.

Option 2: Measure the overarm with the tape measure around your shoulders with your arms down. Read the number you get and subtract 7 inches to get your size. The overarm measurement must be used especially  if it is larger than the chest measurement. In this instance, you will need to fit your chest and upperarm rather than rely simply on the chest measurement alone. For instance, if your chest measurement is 42 inches and the overarm measurement is 44 inches (after you subtract 7), we will recommend you to start with a size 44 jacket size to accommodate your larger upper arms and shoulder width.

Option 3: Measure yourself from shoulder to shoulder, multiple by 2.54 and subtract 10 to get your jacket size in inches.

Height measurement: your height is also an important element to determine your size. 5' 2" - 5' 6" requires SHORT type, 5' 7" - 5' 11" requires REGUALR type, and if your hight is 6'- 6' 5" you’ll need LONG type. For example: if you are 48" chest size, and your height is 5' 8" , you’ll need 48R size
.

PANTS MEASUREMENT

Measure the waist bellow the navel. The measuring tape should be snug (do not measure over your belt). Men's dress slacks are to be worn above the hipbone on the natural waist (at about the height of the navel) for a proper fit. Our suits have a built-in waist adjustment (+2 inch on each side) that can be altered and tailored.  If you need a belt, then the belt size is the same size as your waist size. For example: if you order 38 pants size, then you should choose 38 belt too.

DRESS SHIRT MEASUREMENT

The dress shirt size is determined by your neck size and arm length. For example, a 15.5 x 34/35 dress shirt will fit a man whose neck size is 15 inches and whose arm length is 34 to 35 inches.

Step 1: Measure a shirt collar that fits you well in the collar. Button the collar and place the tape's starting point behind the button. Wrap the tape all the way around the inside of the collar until it meets its starting point (Measurement from center of top collar button to end of buttonhole). Alternatively, you can measure around the fullest part of your neck while you keep the measuring tape snug but not tight. For a looser fit, place 2 fingers between the tape and your neck. Now round your measurement to the nearest 1/2 inch.

Step 2: Sleeve Length: With your arms relaxed at your side and slightly bent, begin measure from the center back of your neck under the collar, over the point of your shoulder, and down the outside of your arm to your wrist. Most people prefer the cuff to fall about an inch below the wrist bone.
