The condition of the record and the lp cover is very important to collectors. Many times the collector will be buying your record to replace the same record they already own.

Avoiding shipping damage is so important to a successful transaction it cannot be overstated.
Ship with care because LP covers can get dented corners and seam-splits from shipping damage. The record is fairly sharp and when the package is shaken for hundreds of miles in a big vibrating truck the lp can split the record cover (seam split).
Remember, in my humble opinion, the post office or any other carrier you use to ship your products will literally toss these packages around.
It's so easy to package for success just takes the will and a little time.
Please ship Media Mail with care and remove the lp and the inner sleeve from the cover, then place the lp in the inner sleeve on top of the cover, put these together in an outer sleeve.
If I am shipping more than 1 record say 3 lp's, I Then wrap all 3 lp's together tightly with craft paper. A lot of times depending the lp I will wrap single records in the outer sleeve with craft paper just to go that extra step for my buyer. Next get 2 cardboard stiffeners that are a little bit bigger than the record, I use 13 x 13 cardboard stiffeners, Now tape the record in the outer sleeve to the cardboard stiffener so it cannot move around in side the box.
Then sandwich the record with the other cardboard stiffener ,
Next (tape sandwich together IMPORTANT) to stop corner dings, and stop seam-splits.
I use a 13 x 13 x 2 box, I put a 13 x 13 piece of the large bubble wrap in the bottom of the box then the lp sandwich, and then another piece of bubble wrap on top.
close the box and use packing tape to seal seams.
I also put a fragile handle with care sticker on the box I
