It is a fact that Inkjet Printer Heads will at some point become blocked.
Normally this is due to lack of use. If you do not use your printer much it is always a good idea to turn it on
at least once a week so the Printer Head gets a clean and is primed with ink then run a test print. As ink is purged through the Head this helps to keep all colours clear.
Epson printers are prone to becoming blocked.
Each colour cartridge is seated on its own nozzle with a seperate chamber leading to the head.
The blockage can be anywhere from the nozzle, in the chamber or at the head itself.
Once the ink dries, it will need to be removed. Running lots of cleaning cycles will be pointless as it will not
remove dried ink plus your Waste Ink Pads will be ever closer to becoming saturated, not to mention the wasted ink. When the printers Waste Ink Counter reaches its limit a message will appear that ' Parts Inside Your Printer Have Reached The End Of Their Life ' or 'Waste Ink Pads Saturated, See your Local Dealer'.
All the Waste Ink goes into the pads at the base of the printer. Some Epson printers have a combination of pads and an internal tank  This is why it is always a good idea to have a Waste Ink Tank fitted before you start any major cleaning. This will prevent the Waste Ink Pads from becoming saturated as all the Waste Ink goes into the tank.
Please see my items listed for Waste Ink Tanks which come with easy to follow Video Fitting Instructions.
I have serviced quite a few Epson printers now and always use my own Cleaning Fluid. I have Tweaked
the Formula over time and now it is very rare that I cannot unblock a printer head. Usually if it cannot be unblocked it will be the seals in the printer head that are damaged.
Put a search in Ebay for
