Having recently purchased an item on Ebay I attempted to arrange delivery by a courier service, deciding on a company based in London called KlickCouriers.com The booking was made on the 30th at 07:33 in the morning and I sat back to wait delivery of it.
On the 1st I checked for the tracking number, nothing, again checking on the 2nd. I thought that since the delivery was supposed to be on the 3rd something would have shown. I contacted the company, talking to someone whose command of the English language was very limited, following up by email. I was advised that they would check up after my third telephone call. Nothing happened.
The next day I started my round of emails/telephone calls again, even trying the online help system, immediately I started stating my problem they went off line.....Now I was really getting annoyed. I talked to 3 different members of staff during the day, being told each time that they would call back. The last call at 3:25 pm I was finally told that the item had not been collected and it was too late now so would have to wait until Monday. I was really hacked off with the service or rather non service provided by this company and wrote a complaint to their info address
Doing a google search it became evident that they are owned by another company who operates from the same location, it showed who the managing director was and I decided to send a complaint to this company also advising them of the treatment of this company. The email was subsequently returned due to mail box being full !!!..
On Sunday I received an email from the info address, who said that they were unable to deliver the package as collection had been refused by the main carriers (DHL) and I would receive a refund of the money for the initail booking. Nothing about all the hassle that I had been through in the past 4 days or the numerous telephone calls/emails.
I contacted DHL and asked them on their terms and whether they had any problems regarding uplifting of an LCD Television, their reply was they had no bother. I explained the situation to them and forwarded the relevant email from Klick stating that DHL had refused to carrier the television. Im sorry but in my view Klick are attempting to blame external sources for their own sloppy work.....
My advice is plain and simple please do not use Klick couriers, their service is not to the stardards of other companies that offer courier services.
I went on to book a new courier service, cheaper than klick and it was picked up yesterday and is now awaiting delivery today at the local branch. Thumbs up to this company for their prompt and efficient service - Interparcel. Definately a courier service that I would recommend and also use again
