Feedback is an important factor of the eBay community. It allows the buyer and seller to see if the buyer/seller is highly rated and if they should trust buying/selling from them.
Feedback should be left with every item purchased or sold whether this feedback positive, neutral or negative.
Buying - Feedback Recieved
Positive: This shows the buyer that the buyer should continue buying in the way which he/she already does and ensure quick payment.
Neutral: This shows the buyer that the buyer should improve their service slightly, maybe pay slightly quicker.
Negative: This shows the buyer that their service should improve greatly. Maybe payment needs to be alot quicker or payment being made at all.
Selling - Feedback Recieved
Positive: This shows the seller that the selling of their items and the service they give to their customers are good and should be kept the same high standards.
Neutral: This shows the seller that the items was maybe not exactly described correctly, the condition of the item was not as good as hoped or the communitcation and shipment of the item was not sufficient and should be improved.
Negative: This shows that the seller that the items were incorrectly described, the service theygave to the customer was unnaceptable. The item may have not even been sent or communication and shipment of the item was no where near sufficent.
Sellers and buyers should both strive to improve there feedback ratings so that buyers/sellers should feel more secure in dealing with the customer/seller.
I hope this guide helps.
