Oh my grandmother, what big mouth you have!

If there is anything to get a girls heart racing, it is the purchase of a new lipstick! As some one who loves to treat herself to the occasional lippy I take pleasure in hunting down those that are of good quality, good price and good looking. Lipstick doesn't have to break the bank to be beautiful. Adding a dramatic coloured lipstick can add effect to any makeup look. A strong red can take any natural look and make it show stopping. The best red lipstick I have ever purchase cost only £15 and is the MAC Ruby Woo lipstick. After one application this lipstick stays on for the entire duration of the night and has the best matte finish of all of the lipsticks I have ever tried. It's the best shade of red I have found that is not too close to orange or pink and it does not darken out the features of the face. For those who find £15 too expensive for a lipstick, especially one that they may be wearing daily, Maybelline offer a range of colour sensational lipsticks for under £10 that I personally swear by. There colour ranges are extremely diverse offering multiple shades and tones of each colour. You can't go wrong with a nude/red from their range! If you are looking to treat yourself I would personally recommend a Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipstick. A little more expensive, but definitely worth the cost! The finish is exceptional and it stays on durably through out the night. Any lipstick whether expensive or cheap can be applied to give a more glamourable finish through the combination of a matching lip liner and through the technique of contour the lines around the lips to blend them inward toward the inside of the mouth, taking any lipstick and giving it more dimensional look. Making the lips look fuller and adding a more professional look to the face.
