Lots of Longchamp Le Pliage fakes around!!  These are very similiar to the real thing and can easily be bought in the markets of the Far East. A friend bought some in Shanghai last week - all the colours you see on ebay, but for the equivalent of between £2 and £4.

How to tell them apart.....  difference in shape....genuine much rounder

The Longchamp zip pull is much brighter, shinier and tinnier in the fake - go for the weight....always an indication of a good bag.

On the back of the leather at the top, not the side with the horse, the genuine item has     Longchamp Le Pliage shopper Made in France, the fake has Longchamp Le Pliage. Type Made in France (oh yeah??!!) The fakes label also says Type on it, but of course this is easy to remove...... but gets around these items being illegal rip offs.
