Lpg and the congestion charge

Like if this guide is helpful

Hi to any one about to bid or buy a van with an LPG conversion with a view to using it in the congestion charge area.

Many vans in the early 2000s were supplied with after market kits and are now being sold on from home office and police fleets .

Before you buy you must find out from the seller if the kit is now obsolete (some kit makers went out of business ) and more inportantly if the conversion is still on the congestion charge list.

If its not you will not get an exemption or any support if the kit fails.

Also if you do not wish to use lpg removing the kit may not be a cheap job as many kits were intigrated into the vans original engine managment system.
