MG / Rover key fob guide

Everyone looking for a replacement key fob for their MG or Rover probably did what I did and found a cheap one on  E-Bay.  The problem is that you need a small programming pod to get it to sync with your car.  To get your fob synced is difficult now all of the MG/Rover dealers have gone.  You need to get a small pod that must be programmed to your key fob, and then syncronised with your car.  Most places will charge you £35 or more for this service, and that is on top of what you pay for your fob on E-Bay.  Take a look on (www dot remotes4cars dot co dot uk) and this explains it all.  PLEASE... don't waste your money on a fob that will either never get synced with your car, or one that costs more to sync than if you'd have bought a decent one anyway!!
