MINOLTA MK2 110 SLR CAMERA.
An upgrade on the original "brick like" 110 model, Even though the MK2 model ( shown in the photo above ) was still tiny when compared with a 35mm SLR, it now looked more or less traditional, controls were a little easier to use and results from the excellent Minolta optics were pin sharp.
I never really understood why, but the Pentax 110 SLR camera still remained more popular, never the less the MK2 Minolta had a loyal following, owners were less inclined to part with them than were owners of the earlier model, hence there are less MK2's available on the secondhand market, those that are sold are usually in near mint condition, okay, i agree, the 110 format is now virtually obsolete, this makes the likes of the Pentax and Minolta 110 models collectable classics, their value can only increase in time...my advice? if you see one of these cameras for sale and in above average condition make sure you grab it!
If you are interested in 110 cameras generally look out for them at secondhand markets and car boot sales...you can pick them up for peanuts!
