When my little girl was too big for her baby car seat, I bought her a Maxi cosi priori sps. I really liked the style of carseat as its comfy and you can buy lots of things to go with it such as a cup holder! The only thing I wasn't keen on was the fabric, It was a funny blue colour. And I found it hard washing and drying it before I needed it the next day. So i started to look for a spare cover... Harder than I thought! You carn't buy them directly from Maxi cosi. The only ones availble are summer covers which are made of a diffrent material and come in cream or navy. So I looked on E-bay, You can find the odd 1 or 2, most are second hand and sell for over £20 then you have p&p. I really liked the new colours such as Enzo(pink and red) But I have never seen the new fabric colours for sale. I went to my local toy shop which also sells nusery and baby products such as Mamas and papas, Maxi cosi, Maclaren and baby things. You probley live near one. I asked them about the maxi cosi covers and they said they would order me one as a spare part! I looked in the catologe at which colour I wanted and they ordered it me! The colours depend on what model of car seat you have. It cost me £35 for a brand new cover and I had to collect it from the shop. Even though this service isn't advtised in the shop, It shows its worth asking. You never known when you might need a spare cover!

Since writting this guide many people have e-mailed me to ask me where the shop was i ordered my maxi cosi cover from and if i knew if they lived near one.. If you go to Maxi cosi website you can find your local stockist. Sellers on E-bay have also started to sell brand new covers, a good seller ive found is, baybies-shop. The stock covers for the SPS and XP in the latest colours and are resonable well priced.
