Micralite buggies

I bought my Micralite Fastfold on ebay in 2006 when I was about to have my first child - I have never had another buggy - It has done two children, through birth to five years - life in the city - bouncing up and down curbs and stairs on the tube, fast folding with one hand to leap on buses - as well as country life - hacking through forests and muddy paths - I cannot tell you how highly I would recommend it - it is fab! It is light, it folds easily, you can turn it on a sixpence with one hand. It won Which Best Buggy a few years back, but for some reason is really hard to get at most large outlets - crazy!

It is a bit tippy, but other prams are too - you get used to it.It doesn't have a huge shopping basket, not ever particularly bothered me... (I now have a buggy board on the back - If you turn the arms around on a Lascal buggy board it will fit on) and that does well for shopping baskets!

The cot fitting is lovely - and  mostly I used a fitting to put a Maxi Cosi seat on it which I used up until they were about 9 months - This is because for smaller children - 6 months or so, the stroller arrangement didn't give enough support or tip back enough. I think the more recent Toro has dealt with this....but with the car seat it was fine anyway.

For toddlers it is great - zippy - easy to get around etc - You can get all terrain front wheels from the manufacturer if you want to be really hardcore, though mine has survived forest tracks with the regular wheels at the front and the standard all terrain at the back..

Am about to get rid of mine finally after 6 years - Most of my friends have been through  3 or 4 prams/buggies in the same period ... - am hoping to give it to someone who really needs it - cannot sell as it is too well used!

Top buggy! - Bought for £140 second hand on Ebay with all the fittings - Best £140 I ever spent!
